❗️🐾Based on recommendations from the MVMA, AVMA, and AAFP, we will no longer be offering declawing as an elective procedure.🐾❗️

The MVMA position statement on declawing (onychectomy) strongly discourages the procedure as an elective one, unless medically necessary, and supports non-surgical alternatives. Declawing is not a medically necessary procedure in most instances and can have significant risks and complications.

Ask your veterinary team about alternotives, scratching mitigation, and nail trimming techniques. We are here to help you and your cats!
