DIAMOND’S HAPPILY EVER AFTER

This update is guaranteed to warm your heart.

Diamond, our sweet senior girl, has found her forever. Her new family welcomed her home last Thursday, and from the moment she walked through the door, she settled in like she’d always belonged.

They describe her as gentle, quiet, and deeply appreciative of her new life. She sleeps peacefully on the couch (and in human beds!), loves being petted, and flashes the sweetest smile when someone looks her way. She’s officially claimed her spot as queen of the couch!

She recently enjoyed a little getaway to the family’s other home, where her favorite spot was sunbathing on the deck—safe, enclosed, and full of peace. She’s still not a fan of being outside unless it’s for her business, car rides, or catching some rays. And that’s okay. She’s earned her comfort.

Her personality is beginning to bloom: she army crawls when excited, wags her tail with joy, and sprints for her meals (she loves her food—three square meals a day, thank you very much!). Her mom stays home during the day, so the two have formed a close bond.

After everything Diamond has been through, seeing her this safe, this happy, and this loved is exactly why we do what we do.

Welcome home, Diamond.

Meet George — A Sweet Soul Who’s Been Through So Much

George didn’t come to us with a name. He came with sunken eyes, a frail frame, and a body that had gone far too long without care. Found as a stray in December—dehydrated and dangerously underweight—he looked like a cat who had been forgotten by the world.

But we didn’t forget him.

With time, love, and a dedicated medical team, George was diagnosed with diabetes. Thankfully, his condition is now managed with just one Bexacat pill each day—no injections needed. And the best part? He’s finally gaining weight and showing the world what a truly gentle and snuggly boy he is.

George loves people. He leans in for affection and enjoys the quiet comfort of a cozy home. He’d be just fine living with another laid-back cat, though he prefers a little personal space and isn’t one for grooming buddies. Dogs, however, are a no-go. After all he’s been through, George deserves peace—not more stress.

At his core, George is a survivor. But what he really wants now is something simple: a warm home, a soft place to nap, and a person who will never stop seeing him.

If you’ve ever thought about opening your heart to a senior cat, let it be George. He’s been waiting a long time for someone like you.

Please share. His home is out there—we just need to find it.
