My Story

I love working with dogs. It's a joy to teach them their basic manners, fun tricks, how to go over ramps and jumps, through tunnels and weave poles. I have studied dog behavior and dog training for over 8 years. I have learned from the following trainers: Pat Miller, Ian Dunbar, Grisha Stewart, Karen Pryor, Susan Garrett, Mary Ellen Barry and Gerilyn Bielakiewicz, The Good Dog, Solid K9 Training and Julie’s K9 Academy. I have worked with 8 different professional trainers learning valuable techniques. I also train the dogs at the Eva Burrell Animal Shelter to help them find their forever homes. It warms my heart to see the dogs learn their manners and watch them meet their new family. Training sessions and classes are available at Northern Tails Pet Resort or in-home private lessons.
