Update: We were informed this morning that this message was sent out again. Please read the following post, and do not open any unknown or suspicious links from our email. We are working to resolve the issue.

We are informing all of our clients as well as associated/neighboring clinics to address an incident within our email that occurred this morning.

One of our accounts, [email protected], was recently subjected to unauthorized access. This may have resulted in an unexpected file being sent out from us today, May 14, 2026. If you received a message sharing a PDF file titled “VetReport” (see the attached photo for reference) between the hours of 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM, please delete that message, as it did not come from our office. In addition, please do not click any links or download any attachments.

We believe we have identified the breach and took appropriate action to secure the account. If you had received this email and continue to receive additional ones or anything that seems concerning or suspicious, please reach out to us at (906)341-2813.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Justin Kirschner has officially joined our team!

Dr. Kirschner graduated from Iowa State University in 2024 and has spent just over a year as an intern at Thompson Veterinary Clinic while completing the final steps of his Michigan licensing. During this time, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality care for his patients and their families.

Justin has a special interest in holistic veterinary medicine and is pursuing additional education in this area, which he hopes to incorporate into this practice in the future. His dedication to continued learning reflects his passion for providing well-rounded, thoughtful care.

Having grown up accustomed to small-town life, Justin is excited to begin his next chapter here in Manistique as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. We are thrilled and fortunate to welcome him to our team and look forward to our community getting to know him.
