KT TAPE | ANOTHER TOOL IN THE EQUINE TOOLBOX

Did you know that K-W Performance Horses & Therapy LLC offers equine kinesiology taping as part of its bodywork and rehabilitation services?

KT tape is a flexible, elastic therapeutic tape that can be applied in different patterns depending on the horse's individual needs and goals. It can be incorporated into a wellness or rehabilitation plan to provide additional support between hands-on sessions.

Some areas where kinesiology taping may be beneficial include:

• Muscle tension, strains & recovery support
• Ligament and tendon support
• Joint stability and mobility
• Swelling and fluid management
• Back soreness and topline support
• Stifle and SI-area support
• Suspensory support
• Navicular and hoof-related support
• Postural awareness and proprioception
• General musculoskeletal support

Every horse is different, and tape applications are selected based on individual assessment, intended use, and the horse's comfort.

At K-W, I believe in having more than one tool in the toolbox. My goal is to look at the bigger picture, address the horse as a whole, and incorporate different modalities when appropriate to support comfort, function, recovery, and longevity.

☃️❄️WINTER EQUINE PROGRAMS ☃️❄️

Want to expand your equine knowledge or keep you and your kiddos involved with horses throughout the winter? Whether you're looking to learn, improve your riding, or give your family more opportunities to spend time with horses, I've got a few options for you!

HIPPOLOGY BUNDLE:
For anyone wanting to learn more about horses, from the basics to more advanced equine knowledge.

- 4 classes per month
- 120 minutes per class
- Horse anatomy, breeds, behavior, nutrition, health, care, and more
- Hands-on learning and real-world horse knowledge

WINTER COACHING:
Keep yourself and your horse legged up throughout the winter and work toward your goals for the upcoming season.

- 4 private sessions per month
- Individualized goals and progress
- Riding skills, conditioning, and performance
- Build confidence, consistency, and communication with your horse

FAMILY EQUINE PLAN:
One monthly plan for the whole family! Share credits between family members and choose from a variety of equine activities based on your interests and goals.

- 12 session credits per month
- Up to 2 scheduled days per week
- Credits can be shared between participating family members
- Unused credits expire at the end of each month
- One credit per session

Eligible services include:
- Pony rides
- Riding lessons
- Performance coaching
- Equine-assisted therapy
- Hippology classes
- Cowgirl mentorship

A great way to keep the kids learning, build confidence around horses, and give the whole family something to look forward to throughout the winter!
