Congratulations to Miles Skurkis and Cara Bailey last week at OSF.😊

We had a beautiful day in the June road ring and Cara and her Chabalou I.K has fantastic rounds in the 1.0 and 1.10 classes picking up some ribbons as well. I love it when we have an already great team learning to develop together !!

Miles Skurkis and his King Cavalier marched around the 1.10 and the 1.20 classes and even earned up a 1st in the 1.20!

Classes for all ! Jumper classes, walk trot to 3 foot hunters and equitation. Great for schooling and experience for young horses.

We had a great time last week at the New England Benefit Show.
Amber Copperwaithe took the reins for the first time on Hijack looking like they knew each other well and tacked the courses earning a first and reserve champion for the division !

Sarah Botthoff and her Bronx Balou also scored a win and many other placing and great rounds in their hunter division!

Olivia Kalmar and her CR Justified worked on getting to know each other at shows and gathered some good placings including a 1st and 2nd!

Stephanie Barre and Salsa joined us for the jumpers and they also hand a great show with great rounds including a second place in the .80s.

Update from our busy month of showing! Some of our members attended the Mystic Valley Hunt Club show in May 17. As always, a wonderful show with fabulous rings and courses!

Vanessa Ryan had her show debut on Bronx Balou owned and graciously shared by Sarah Botthoff . The pair earned a pair of 3rds in the large group of pre-children’s hunters and eq flats!

Sarah herself had great round and even won a class in the low Adult hunters 🙂

Eirrin Go Bragh owned by Kat Kronengold also made his show debut in the training hunters . This newly turned 5 year old even earned a few ribbons in large classes . But mostly being the best boy who acted so casual in the busy rings ! Thank you buddy for being so logical and fun to ride ! Can we have more of these Irish horses please!

Congratulations to our FCF team members who competed at Fieldstone Spring I.
Katelyn Conley rode Hijack to her “A” showjumping debut, riding very well and even earning a first and several other ribbons!

Miles Skurkis and his King Cavalier practiced equitation over the 1.10 courses also earning some nice prizes as well as a 2nd x.

Diktators Giovanni V garnered a championship in the 2’ USHJA hunters , winning all 3 fence classes in muddy conditions ! He was a very brave baby! He is now proudly offered for sale .

We continued to get to know Olivia Kalmar’s new horse CR Justified, picking up a 2nd ,3rd and other ribbons in very large classes in the hunters .

Great job everyone braving the wind, rain and working together as a team all week 😁

Catching up on our shows over the last few weeks. We had a great group attend the Old Salem Farm welcome weekend in early May.

Miles Skurkis and his King Cavalier earned a second in the 1m and another clear round in the 1.15 for a great 3rd place finish !

Cara Bailey and her Chabalou IK had fabulous rounds and a clear in the international ring !

Diktators Giovanni V earned ribbons in his hunter classes and an 8th in the derby . This promising young 5 year old is also now offered for sale!

Natalie Reinhardt and her Chance of a Lifetime earned multiple ribbons in their hunter division as well as the derby 🙂

Amber Copperwaithe and Vincenzo marched around the .70 and .90s with several clear rounds and ribbons as well!

We also had Morgan Marilyn join us in the ring with precisely ridden clear rounds as well as multiple placings. Thank you to Sally Hinkle Russell for sending such a wonderful pair to coach at the show.

We kicked off our Open Show Series last weekend with some perfect weather, fun classes, and great prizes! All of our riders used the day to prep for some upcoming shows on our schedule, and we loved all of the local barns coming to add to the competitiveness

We look forward to seeing all the familiar faces (and hopefully some new!) at our next show on May 31st

We had an exceptionally fun and informative day of training with Peter Leone this past weekend. Each rider went home with valuable information needed to help get them to their current goal in their riding career, all with smiles! We are so thankful to both Peter, Liz, and all of Blue Dog Farm for hosting us
