Dogs don’t cool down the same way humans do, which is why hydration and heat awareness matter so much as summer gets closer.

A few signs a pup may be overheating include: heavy panting, drooling, bright red gums, slowing down, or seeming disoriented. If you ever notice those signs, it’s time for shade, water, and a break.

Candlewick always prioritizes safe play and comfort — especially as temperatures climb.

We had so much fun taking graduation photos of our daycare pups as they celebrated this special milestone in style. From wagging tails to picture-perfect poses, our graduates made every moment unforgettable!

This year is even more meaningful as we celebrate our 50th year of business. We are incredibly grateful to all of our wonderful clients who have trusted us with their furry family members throughout the years.
