HUGE THANK YOU to our rockstar employee Ava for taking our rescue Ms Emma for the weekend!! The kennel life takes a huge toll on these pups so getting them out for a walk or for the weekend is a huge break for them. We often hear they sleep and even snore so well knowing they are able to relax in a warm quiet home.

🐾 You’re Not Seeing Double — Eddard & Mocha Both Found Forever Homes! 🏡

Eddard and Mocha may not be related, but these two adorable twins in spirit have both officially found their forever homes. 💙

When they first came to us, they were unsure of the world and simply hoping for a second chance. Thanks to the love, patience, and care of their incredible foster families, both pups gained confidence, learned what it means to feel safe, and have now settled into loving homes with families of their very own. 🏡🐶

We are beyond grateful for our amazing fosters and this wonderful community that continues to share our posts, support our mission, and help these deserving pups find the lives they deserve.💙

Big shoutout to Anicira Veterinary Center of Manassas for their Pit Fix program. Through this program we have been able to get several of our rescue pups spayed and neutered at no cost! This is a huge help to small rescues like us and helps with irresponsible breeding and overcrowded shelters.

Rescue isn’t always happy endings—and this one hurts. 💔🐾

Sweet Shug came to us old, overbred, and sick. We gave her a soft place to land, where she could finally feel safe, enjoy car rides, and snuggle up in a warm bed with someone who loved her.

Unfortunately, Shug was sicker than we ever could have known. Over the past week, our staff made sure she was surrounded by extra love, comfort, and gentle care. This afternoon, sweet Shug crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully.

While this isn’t the second chance we hoped to give her, we take comfort in knowing her final days were filled with kindness, warmth, and love—and that she is now free from pain.

Thank you to our incredible community and everyone who showed love and support to sweet Shug. Your compassion means more than words can express.

Run free, sweet Shug. You were so loved. 🌈🐶💙

We’re so excited to share that TWO of our foster pups have officially found their forever homes! 🐾💙

Reces and Vinnie were once on death row with only hours left—but thanks to rescue, love, and dedicated fosters, their stories took a beautiful turn. What started as temporary homes quickly became forever ones… their fosters fell in love and made it official!

We couldn’t be happier for these two lucky pups and their amazing families. This is exactly why we do what we do. 🐶✨
