🚨 Case spotlight - Mast Cell Tumor 🚨

Not every lump is “just a fatty tumor.”

This image shows a recent fine needle aspirate (FNA) from a canine mast cell tumor — one of the more common skin tumors we see. The good news? Many mast cell tumors can be successfully treated when caught early.

That’s why we recommend having any new lump or bump checked, especially if it’s growing, changing, or bothering your pet. A quick sample can often give us valuable information without surgery or sedation.
