To Our May Adopters — Thank You 💛

To each person who adopted in May, we want to say something simple, but deeply felt: thank you.
What you may see as “bringing home a pet” is, for these animals, the moment everything changes.
They arrive to us unsure of what comes next—some frightened, some shut down, some still learning how to trust people again. And then, because of you, they get something they didn’t have before: a real home. A safe place. A person who chose them.
That choice matters more than words can fully express.
Every animal below carries a story, and because of you, those stories didn’t end with uncertainty—they continued with comfort, care, and love. You gave them stability. You gave them patience. You gave them a future they could finally relax into.
We are a small organization that sees firsthand how much difference one adopter can make. And this month, you made that difference real.

From all of us—and especially from the animals who now get to sleep peacefully, play freely, and feel safe—thank you for showing up for them.

We don’t take it lightly. Not even a little.

🐾 With heartfelt gratitude,

🌧️ ☔ 🌦️ 🌧️🌧️ 🌩️ 💧 🌨️ 🌧️🐱
Due to the nonstop rain lately, we are beginning to suspect the weather forecast was wrong… it’s not raining cats and dogs — it’s raining kittens!

Tiny fuzzy droplets have been appearing everywhere, and unlike regular rain, these little storms come with toe beans, zoomies, and an unhealthy obsession with attacking shoelaces. Some are loud, some are dramatic, and some act like they’ve never been fed a day in their lives despite eating 14 minutes ago.

Our shelter is currently experiencing a 100% chance of kittens, and the only known cure is adoption. Side effects may include purring, laughter, loss of personal space, and finding tiny toys under your furniture at 2am.
Adoption is $125.

Meet Kyro and Wilder — two handsome gentlemen looking for homes of their own! These boys already know how to keep their kennels clean and are potty trained, making them wonderful companions for anyone looking for well-mannered dogs.

Wilder is the social butterfly of the pair. He loves everyone he meets and enjoys getting attention from people. He’s also good on the leash and happy to stroll right by your side like the gentleman he is.

Kyro is a little more independent and stubborn at times, but that’s just part of his charm. He can be particular about his people and prefers a calmer environment without small children. He isn’t mean at all — he simply doesn’t enjoy being poked, prodded, or having little hands pulling on his tail. Kyro appreciates having his personal space respected and thrives with people who understand his boundaries.

Both boys are neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find loving homes. Come meet these fine gentlemen and see if one — or both — might be the perfect fit for your family!

Everyone is always asking for small dogs… well, here they are! Meet Runt and Moon — two tiny pups with very different personalities, but both dreaming of a lap to call their own.

*Runt is in a Foster-to-Adopt home*
Runt is the definition of happy-go-lucky. This little Chihuahua mix has never met a stranger and seems to wake up every day excited to make new friends. He’s always smiling, always happy, and always ready to spread joy wherever he goes.

Moon is much more reserved and cautious with new people. She takes time to trust and will need a patient adopter who understands that bonding with her is a process, not an instant connection. But once Moon chooses her person, she will be your loyal little shadow and devoted lap dog.

Adoption is $200 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, microchip.
