Holy Cat Whiskers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are a Trap-Neuter/Spay and Release program for feral (born in the wild) cats. We provide housing/food for feral colonies to keep them under control. We adopt out kittens from our feral mothers and if possible, the mothers as well. At our shelter we bring in injured, sick or pregnant cats and nurse them back to good health. However, we do NOT handle domestic cats. Our goal is to reduce feline overpopulation and disease in our area.

It is perplexing to see a decline in volunteerism. A mere hour of volunteering per week can be incredibly valuable. Our posts have been up for months, and the Ashtabula APL is urgently seeking help as they grapple with overcrowding. If you are a local resident, kindly consider volunteering an hour or two to assist with tasks such as laundry and washing dishes. Additionally, we need in-house caregivers to aid with cleaning and providing love and care. Please consider volunteering. Most shelters have age limits in place. By volunteering, you can have a profound impact on the life of an animal that has endured a difficult past.

Look at this babies face, so swollen . Took her in just for vet care, Dr Tom say severe sinus infection. She is friendly. Do you recognize her she is from Berrjngton Ridge and Strafford area in Mentor. Only 3.5 pounds. She can hardly breath out of her nose. She is going to a foster soon.
