Well guys, as 2025 nears a close, I thought it would be nice to reflect on the year as a whole. In short, I'd say it was a roller coaster. As many of you know the last 4 years (Until October) our store was located in Orange. I knew pretty early on we had made a mistake, but we were signed into a lease, and I don't like to break the rules. But this past year in particular, things over there were really bad. I'll spare you all the details, but lets just say it got to the point where I utterly hated going to work. It is an awful feeling when you despise something so much, that you can't bear the thought of it. I even debated on just calling it quits and closing the business. But I realized that it wasn't Mad Tack I hated, it was the location! I knew that I had to get out of there. Then, a door opened! By shear luck, my beautiful wife drove by 10 minutes after a "for lease" sign was set out! She called me up and told me to close the store early and get out here. I did, and 1 hour later we had our new location! The month of October Mad Tack was essentially closed for the big move! Of course that took its toll financially, but I felt my batteries starting to recharge. November 1st was our grand opening and these last 2 months have been awesome! For the first time in 4 years, I am really happy again to be going to work! I am really looking forward to 2026. There are new products that I am excited to be bringing in, and our consignment program is blooming! Thank you everyone for hanging in there and supporting us through the years! 2026 is going to be a great year! We are open today shorter hours 10-4, and tomorrow we will be closed.
