A wonderdul update on Gracie and Elsa!!!

Annette, Gracie is settling in. She played and snuggled but ended up hiding from Elsa who acted like Gray did when we brought Elsa home. She allowed me to brush her well and napped on my shoulder. Here are a few pics. Her name is Gracie Anne. So she is named after you and my granddaughter. 😁. Here’s a few of Elsa as well. I got her January 10 of this year.

Spencer (black/white) and Tiger are looking for their forever homes. These kitties are super sweet and love all the attention they can get. They would love to find a loving family before turkey 🦃 day.
The shelter will be open Monday and Tuesday 9-4.
Stop 🛑 by and give these cuties some love.

Our spicy little girl Grace was adopted today!!! One of our previous adopters came in and fell in love with her. We are certain she will be loved and have 2 more kitty siblings to play and hang out with. We will post updates once she has settled in and we get some pics.

The shelter is open today until 2 and we have some of the cutest kitties available for adoption.
These 3 sweeties are ready to find their forever homes today.

We have a few opportunities for the community to help the shelter animals for the holidays !!
1) We have updated our Amazon Wishlist to include things we need to take care of the animals and to help keep the shelter clean.

2) We have a Kuranda Bed donation drive happening where you can buy and donate a bed to our shelter. Here is the link:

3) We are raising money to purchase a doggie play-house for our outside play-yard. It will help stimulate our pups at playtime and keep them entertained and active.
You can make monetary donations to the shelter in person or we can provide our mailing address.

We are excited to have a few ideas 💡 to help the shelter.

🐶🐶🐶 With the holidays coming up we are asking our wonderful community to donate Kuranda Beds for our residents here at the shelter. These beds give them a comfy place to lay off the floor and with an added blanket it gives them some security while they are with us. 🐶🐶🐶
They are all put to great use. Our staff and 4-legged babies appreciate every donation.

Meet the handsome Spencer! He is approximately 5 months old and ready for his new home. He is friendly and enjoys being held, he does prefer a slow approach at first. Enjoys the company of other kitties. He loves a comfy bed. Spencer is hoping his forever family will come scoop him up.
The shelter is open today until 4 and Saturday 9-2.

We have a few kittens ready for their new homes!!
This is Grace. She can act a little spicy at first but enjoys being held once she understands you’re not going to hurt her. She needs a patient home where she can warm up gradually and feel comfortable and loved. She was adopted with her brother Tiger but both were returned ( NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS PLEASE).
Tiger is also available: he is an absolute sweetheart. Loves to be held and made over. Enjoys batting toys around and enjoys the company of other kitties. These cuties would love to have a forever home before the holidays.
The shelter is open today until 4 and Saturday 9-2.

A huge thank you to Mount Nebo Lutheran Church in Rochelle for their generosity. They held a small donation drive for local shelters and dropped off their goodies today. We appreciate our community for thinking of the animal shelter.

One of our amazing families that adopted 2 sweet pups in February stopped by yesterday with some wonderful donations. They also bought Foxy and Pebbles in for a visit. We appreciate the kindness and we always love seeing our former residents.
