From time to time, we have more late cancellation/no-shows than usual so we feel the need to restate our cancellation/reschedule policy. We get it, life is hectic, and sometimes throws us a curveball, which necessitates a late cancellation, however, rescheduling at late notice because we didn’t remember our appointment is not one of those reasons.
Please read the below carefully; it is in all of our brand new client paperwork, and it is also on display at the spa. It’s very reasonable; all we ask for is enough advance notice to replace the opening on the schedule that your dog will not be able to fill.
🐾APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY:
We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Our text confirmation the night before your appointment is a confirmation for us (not meant to be a reminder); Your appointment card is your actual reminder, and we also send a text upon checkout with the next appt.☺️ We are here every day that we are open, and ready to take care of your dog. Our wonderful groomers work on commission and experience a loss of income when we have a late cancellation/no show. We expect you to remember and honor your appointment time unless there is a last minute emergency. We are also not responsible for your missed appointment if you do not receive a confirmation text.
Late Cancellation Fee:
All appointments that are canceled with less than 48 hours notice will gladly be rescheduled upon pre-payment for the next appointment. The pre-payment is nonrefundable should you miss your appointment or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice. We ask that everyone please understand that this policy is necessary in order for us to continue to employ the wonderful staff of people who are here to take care of your pets.
