We truly have the BEST team anyone could ask for! ☺️🐾 Each of these incredible ladies brings not only exceptional skill, but also a heart of gold. That rare combination is something we cherish every single day.

We’re also thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team—Alyssa (bottom left)! After a successful run as a mobile groomer, she decided to transition into a salon environment, and we’re so grateful she chose Blue Sky. Here, she’s found the support, camaraderie, and sense of community she was looking for—and it already feels like she’s been with us all along.

In light of recent conversations on social media regarding pet care businesses “going corporate,” we want to take a moment to speak directly to you—our loyal clients and community.
At Blue Sky Pet Spa, we are not a corporate entity, and we have no intention of becoming one—now or in the foreseeable future. For the past 18 years, our locally owned and operated spa has been built on relationships: with you, your families, and your beloved pets.

Our team is the best in the area—well trained, highly skilled, deeply compassionate, and genuinely devoted. Every day, we care for your pets with the same love and attention we give to each other, creating a warm and trusting environment for all.
Along with this awesome team, we as owners are wholeheartedly committed to preserving the personalized service and hands-on care that has defined us since day one. We remain dedicated to offering a boutique experience that puts pets first and makes every visit special.

We currently have availability for small to medium-sized dogs, and we’re especially welcoming appointments for under-coated breeds and doodles.

We appreciate every single client and precious pup who entrusts their care to us at Blue Sky.
We would, however, like to ask that you try to work with and respect our business model. Our goal is to say “yes“ to each and every request; this is why we text everyone personally the day before your appointment (instead of using an automated system) in order to ensure that we get the proper check-in/checkout times and discuss any concerns you may have for your dog before you arrive.
Please remember to make any special requests regarding check-in/checkout time and any other accommodations when we text the confirmation.
We space out our groomers check out times in order to ensure they have adequate time to spend with every dog without rushing.
Once our day has begun, it’s very hard to change a time, especially to an earlier one. We ask for your consideration and for your due diligence in preparing for your dog’s visit to make any special requests BEFORE bringing them in.
Putting us in a position to have to say “no” makes us very uncomfortable because we really do aim to please.

Fleas you say??? Oh, no!
Believe it or not, this is the time of year that we begin to see more and more dogs coming in with fleas. The warmer our houses are inside, the more flea eggs will hatch that have been lying around dormant.
We want to ask everyone to please please check your dogs for fleas before bringing them to their appointment. (Part the hair at the base of the tail. If you see black grains of ‘dirt’ there are fleas) If you find them, please treat before bringing to your appointment.
We don’t want to have to start refusing dogs who have fleas, but we cannot risk an infestation at our spa.
Capstar can be purchased at Walmart and is a safe quick kill pill. Give an hour before appointment time. Thank you.

We want to thank all of our wonderful clients for making 2024 a pawsome year at Blue Sky! We are so very grateful for our team of professional groomers who make your babies look and feel their very best. We also are excited to welcome Ally to Blue Sky as our receptionist and the first smiling face you see in the mornings. Our stockings are hung by the chimney with care, we made it through the week of lots of hair!
We are all nestled so snug in our beds, while visions of puppy dogs dance in our heads.

“Falling” in love with all of the pups who come to Blue Sky every day is part of why we love what we do so much. It warms our heart so much to hear the stories of the dogs who get excited when they pull into the parking lot, or when their pet parent tells them they’re coming to Blue Sky.
