Labor Day Closure Notice

We will be closed on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.
If you need any medication refills or would like to schedule an appointment, please give us a call this week so we can assist you ahead of time.
We will reopen for normal business hours at 8am on Tuesday September 2nd.

The Fourth of July is just days away, and Alfie wants to help keep the pets of Lyons safe! If you find a lost pet over the holiday weekend, please have them scanned for a microchip—this is a free service offered by LVC and most other veterinary clinics.
Just a reminder: we’ll be closed on Friday, July 4th. Be sure to call ahead to schedule appointments or pick up any medications before the holiday.

Since it is National Pet Dental Health Month it seemed fitting to have Dr. Shea's first Doctor's Corner be on the Importance of Dental Health.

Brushing your pet's teeth is the most effective way to keep your pet's teeth and gums healthy. Trust us when we say we don't enjoy it either. It takes patience, time, training and treats to get your pet on board with the concept. One of my aunts flosses her dog's teeth every night, no joke. How she managed to pull that off I have no idea, but she did, and you can figure out a way to brush your pet's teeth too! We believe in you!
