As the holiday season approaches, we’d like to wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Our office will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:

Christmas: December 24th – December 26th (reopening Monday, December 29)
New Year’s: December 31 & January 1

We’ll resume normal business hours on Friday, January 2.

Please plan prescription refills in advance, as we appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice for all refill requests.

While celebrating, please keep your furry friends safe with these quick holiday reminders:

Skip the Table Treats – Fatty, spicy, or sugary foods (and bones!) can be harmful. Stick to your pet’s regular diet.
Mind the Décor – Keep wires, batteries, and ornaments out of reach.
Toxic Plants – Mistletoe, holly, lilies, and poinsettias can make pets sick.
Christmas Tree Safety – Secure your tree, cover the water, and skip the tinsel.
Noise & Fireworks – Provide a quiet space if celebrations get loud.
Trash Trouble – Keep garbage sealed to prevent curious snacking.
Snow Globes & Salt – Both can be toxic if ingested; keep them away from pets.
Medication Safety – Store all meds out of reach, including guests’.

Labor Day Closure Notice

We will be closed on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.
If you need any medication refills or would like to schedule an appointment, please give us a call this week so we can assist you ahead of time.

The Fourth of July is just days away, and Alfie wants to help keep the pets of Lyons safe! If you find a lost pet over the holiday weekend, please have them scanned for a microchip—this is a free service offered by LVC and most other veterinary clinics.
Just a reminder: we’ll be closed on Friday, July 4th. Be sure to call ahead to schedule appointments or pick up any medications before the holiday.
