A beautiful juvenile corn snake visiting my celadon aviary this evening. It poses zero threat to my quail (that’s 1/2” hardware cloth), and i had just collected all of the eggs for the evening (not that it was big enough to eat one). I’m more worried about the snake getting hurt by the quail, so I went back in to es**rt it safely out of harms way. We like rat snakes and hope it sticks around the yard 🧡

Sorry for the lack of content lately, but I really don’t have much going on to post about. All of the growouts in the nursery are spoken for and I have some special projects about to hatch (which won’t be available until fall) along with a small batch of regular jumbos pipping as I type (these will be available next week).

REALLY resisting the urge to hatch all of the eggs the buttons are producing!! As cute as they are to hatch, I don’t have any room for anymore and it’s too dang hot out in FL this time of year to build anything new. So unless someone preorders a bunch of buttons I’ll refrain for now 😂

Been mostly focused on gardening and keeping my freeze dryer humming to build up some food storage in case of emergency with everything that’s going on in the world. Do you know where the majority of the world’s fertilizer is produced? If not give it a google, and maybe think about how that could possible affect your family.

Stay tuned for some exciting new lines in the fall🐣

Absolutely obsessed with my new HR Freeze Dryer❄️💙

Have already done 2 batches of 10 lbs of ground raw quail for the dogs, close to 500 quail eggs, 2 loads of various fruits, fresh mushrooms, mixed greens for my smoothies and some yummy yogurt drops.

Now to get a little bit more organized and start doing some meal planning!
