Still picking up ducks like the trainer taught him! We haven't worked with a duck since I brought him home almost a month ago. Thankfully he hasn't forgotten a thing!

100 yard force to pile, just started on this and he's catching on quick. You can tell he was getting tired though😂 he tried to be lazy on coming back to heel. When he gets tired he pretends he doesn't know what back means and keeps looking at me like really?? But he knows what I'm saying! Love Freddy King's retriever trainer program, and of course Creeks awesome trainer who got him started at Dead Bird Good Dog in Waynesboro GA!

Creek's first day of me working with him since he's been home from the trainers. I need a better whistle meant for duck dogs! He went straight for the bumper behind me but when I corrected he understood. The trainer messed around with pile work before I picked up Creek so he did just fine. Worked on his whistle stop after this and he did great! After a few tries 😂No hand signals just yet but we're getting there!

He doesn't like being pointed at😂 also he can tell when I'm smiling and laughing that "no" isn't serious I'm still playing, and when I change posture and facial expressions and tone then I mean it. But typically if I'm done playing I tell him to sit. Always good to have a turn off key word! Even for labradors. Pups can play rough, his baby teeth and claws tore me up 😂
