Huge improvements for the critters! Winston's paddock got their very own "boardwalk" and the back critters got a huge cement pad! Every year we try to make provisions for the upcoming rainy season. Here in South Florida our summer months are terribly rainy and the mud is insane! These particular paddocks become so saturated because of all the water we are constantly changing every day. Notice all the kiddie pools? We rinse and refill them every day in addition to their other water sources for all the critters daily which only adds to the amount of water in their paddocks. Now there is an entranceway for humans to get in and out of the gates without sinking in the mud! And even though their paddocks are very big and they definitely have more room to get out of the mud, these are the areas they always seem to want to hang out and especially when people are around! I'm so excited with how it turned out, less excited with how much it cost! I am going to be doing a fundraiser so please keep your eyes out for that! What do you do when you've tried everything and you still get lots of mud in some areas? You build a boardwalk for your babies of course!! I tried to get a picture of it completed tonight but it's hard to see in the dark, but it's awesome! They still will have mud for Margo and the piggies to lay out on the side, but at least there's a nice stretch when you walk through the gate when we have to go and feed them and change their waters. Last year you could barely get through the gate without sinking! There's still plenty of dry land for them but this particular area was just terrible! Next step we are doing cement in the back for the other critters area 👏🏼 Please keep an eye out for a fundraiser because this is costing an absolute fortune! But at least our babies feet and my team and I won't sink! 😃👏🏼❤️

Riversong Shearing LLC for the win!! These guys were amazing, they travel around the country shearing sheep and other livestock, and today was our day! We got all eight of our sheep sheared, all eight sheep got their toes trimmed, they also sheared our one fluffy goat Rupert, and six of my 10 goats got their feet trimmed also! All in two hours! They were so gentle with the animals and so professional, it's not easy trying to round up sheep that are super suspicious! Thanks guys!! So glad we got on your schedule for this year and will see you next year! 🐑🐐😍

Does anyone make custom farm signs? I have NOT been able to find what I want anywhere online. I want either wood or metal (not cutout lettering) at least 20" long (and about 12" high) with stakes to go in the ground. You'd think that would be easy to find 😫
