I have a really nice group of stud c**t yearlings available, all priced in the teens.

These are well bred, good looking c**ts with the kind of pedigrees that can go several different directions. Most are out of mares that are either money earners themselves or have been finalists, and the same goes for the sires. Proven horses with earnings and finalist credentials.

Siblings to these c**ts are already out showing and competing in the cutting, ranch and roping pens.

There’s a good variety in this group depending on what you’re looking for. Whether you’re wanting one to head toward the cutting pen or something with the pedigree and ability to go into the ranch or roping world, there are several nice prospects to choose from.

All are priced in the teens.

Modern Gun × A Smart Custom (Custom Crome)

Bourbon is a 2022 gelding by Modern Gun and out of a Custom Crome bred mare. He stands 14.2 hands and is 100% sound with no maintenance.

He got a later start than some, which is reflected in his price, but he’s been brought along slow and correctly without being rushed. He’s been given the time to build a solid foundation, and it’s really starting to show.

Bourbon is a fun horse to have around and is full of personality. He’s quiet minded, easy to get along with, and always shows up ready to work. He has a pretty circle, stays soft in the bridle, and continues to improve with every ride.

He has all the pieces to continue in either the reining or ranch riding world. Whether you’re looking for a horse to finish your own way or one to keep in a training program, Bourbon has the talent, mind, and foundation to keep progressing in either direction.

He’s more than welcome to stay in my program after the sale so his new owner can continue his development.

Piper is off to a great start. She’s just getting started under saddle and has made the job easy from day one. She hasn’t offered to buck, rear, kick out, or do anything silly. She shows up every day with a good attitude and wants to learn.

She’s good to load, lead, tie, and stand for the farrier. She gets along well with the other horses and is usually out in the pasture following the dogs around. She also seems naturally cowy and has always shown interest in what’s going on around the cattle.

One thing I really like about her is that she learns something once and seems to keep it. She doesn’t feel like you have to start over every ride. She’s been easy to bring along and has the kind of mind that should make someone a really nice horse down the road.

If you’re looking for one to finish your way, whether that’s ranch riding, reining, working cows, or just a good all-around horse, I think she’ll fit the bill. She’s got a solid foundation and is ready for someone to keep going with her.

No quirks or vices. Stands 14.3 and barefoot currently.

Piper is more than welcome to stay in the program after the sale for continued training if her new owner would like.

Penguina is a gorgeous 14.2 HH gray mare with a kind personality and a solid, dependable foundation. She is 5 panel negative, registered, but will be sold grade. (She’s still in breeders name. Previous owner lost papers) She stays barefoot and has been an easy, honest mare to have around.

She is very gentle and easy for a weekend cowboy. Penguina is the same horse whether you ride her in a saddle, ba****ck, in a halter, or even bridleless. She confidently goes through water, will watch a cow, and will let you rope off of her. She has the versatility and willing attitude to excel in a variety of jobs.

Penguina would make an outstanding ranch horse, barrel prospect, possibly even a jumper pony, or dependable all around partner for someone with a little riding experience.
