Meet Dr. Jason Novak! Dr. Novak recently joined VSP after several years at another emergency hospital in the area. He achieved his Bachelor’s of Veterinary science in 1998 and graduated with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2002. He spent nine years in general practice and then the last 13 years in emergency medicine. Dr. Novak has worked hard in subsequent years to expand his knowledge, constantly seeking continuing education and opportunities to learn from colleagues. This work has brought him to VSP, where he seeks to provide the best patient care possible, and help every four- (or three-) legged friend. Dr. Novak shares his home with two pets: Heimdallr, the Boerboel, and Cringer, the seal-point domestic longhair. Outside of work, he loves to engage in target shooting, astrophotography, LEGOs, and PC gaming.
