The story of Stella, as told by her mom Megan:
In the early morning after Valentine's day in 2023 I went to take my precious Stella outside and she collapsed on the kitchen floor. I immediately rushed her to Metropolitan Animal Hospital (because it was a weekend, what dog gets sick on a weekday?!). Hours later I was given the option of hospitalization or to take her home at my own risk. My bill was already 1,000.00 and climbing. 1 overnight would cost at minimum 1200.00. I didn't have that kind of money so took the risk and we walked out with some steroids and a drug to suppress her immune system and a diagnosis of IMHA. My dog was barely 2 years old, how could we have a lifelong diagnosis?! I called Dr. Lindquist on Monday to request an appointment. (Dr. Lindquist used to be my horse vet many years ago but I had heard she opened her own small animal practice.) Of course, I was fit in the same day.
Fast forward to today- my girl Stella just had bloodwork on 6/12/24 and it was absolutely perfect!! I cannot thank the LouVet team for all of their dedication to my girl, the countless hours and of course the phone calls. No one ever wants to hear a scary diagnosis, but I'll tell you at LouVet nothing is scary. I have grown to love the entire LouVet team as have the rest of my critters. This is by far the best care I have ever received at a vets office and quite honestly the first time I've ever felt the staff and veterinarian actually LISTENED to myself as well as Stella. If you haven't taken your pet to LouVet, here is your reasons why to call right now:
Compassion
Professional
Affordable
Responsive
Dependable
Funniest crew out there
Knowledgeable
CLEAN
SMELLS GOOD
The list is neverending. Just do it, you won't regret it
THANK YOU Meganπ
