Each year, thousands of pets are affected by house fires, many of which could be prevented with a few simple precautions. In honor of National Pet Safety Day, here’s a quick reminder of how you can keep your furry friends safe:
🐾 Never leave open flames unattended; opt for flameless candles instead.
🐾 Secure stove k***s to prevent accidental ignitions.
🐾 Keep electrical cords out of reach to avoid chewing hazards.
🐾 Use a pet alert sticker on your window to notify firefighters of pets inside.
🐾 Ensure your pets wear ID tags and are microchipped in case of emergencies.
🐾 Store collars and leashes near exits to make quick exits easier.
Most importantly, always prioritize safety, and never put yourself at risk to save a pet. Instead, inform emergency responders immediately.
Stay safe, and give your pets some extra love from us today!
