Katie, Keely and Kaiser are our longest residents at the shelter. They have been here since they were young pups. Recently their adoption fee was paid by an anonymous donor in hopes of finding them homes. They have lived their lives in a kennel and will need TLC, patience and training but in return they will love you endlessly. Thank you everyone for the help. What we know now.
His name is Petey, and he is approximately 14 years old. Mrs. Wisor nor her family has owned him in years, and the microchip has never been changed. He was adopted in 2016 from the Athens County Shelter and has lived in Hocking County. He was rehomed on July 13, 2025, do to personal reasons. He allegedly escaped from the people who took him in. For reasons I will not go into we have worked out a deal for them to surrender him to the Hocking County Humane Society.

This is why it's very important to make sure to register and/or change the registry on microchips for owner changes.

Do you know who I am? I am microchipped to a Penny Wisor of Albany, Ohio but found in Hocking County, Ohio. The phone number on the chip is no longer a working phone number. Please help me get home. Please Call 740-380-9109
