The Pet Orphanage is sponsoring a Dog Spay/Neuter clinic on Wednesday, November 4. Registration will be on Monday, October 26 at 7:00 pm at the Logan Hocking Library meeting room. Cost is $140 per dog male or female. Cost includes a rabies vaccination. Unfortunately, we no longer have a way to transport kennels so you will be required to bring one with you.

The registration will be held on Saturday, August 8th at the Logan Hocking County Library in the Walnut Street Meeting Room starting promptly at 9:30 am. (If unable to attend in person, a neighbor, friend, or family member can register and pay for you.) NOTE: The line forms early. Registration is first come first served.

Cash payment is due at registration. Cost: Females $80 and Males $50 (includes cost of Rabies vaccination).

The clinic will be held on Sunday, August 16th at the Hocking County Fairgrounds in the Soil and Water Conservation conference room.

We provided care for a pregnant mother cat on our property. We brought her into our home on March 26, 2026. She gave birth to four kittens on April 9, 2026. The mother has since been spayed and we adopted her out. The kittens have received veterinary care including being tested for FIV/FELV. We really need to find the kittens a home because we already have six inside rescue cats. The kittens are healthy and free from all typical issues associated with community cats.
They are social, lovable, and litter box trained. They were fixed on July 12th and July 19th. They also received a rabies shot but will need to be vaccinated once homed. They need an owner committed to them for the longevity of their life up to twenty years. We would prefer an inside home safe from all the hazards’ cats face on the street. There are three males and one female. There is a rehoming fee of 25.00 for a male, and 40.00 for the only female. The rehoming fee will cover a fraction of the care we provided including spay/neuter.

If spaces are still available, you are required to complete paperwork and pay (In Cash - Females $80 and Males $50) at our Sunday, June 14th clinic between 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at the Hocking County Fairgrounds' Soil and Water Conference Room. Failure to complete paperwork and make payment, will cancel your reservation.
