2 days a week I leave the house by 530 AM to get Nash to morning hockey practice and then head straight to my office for the day......
This morning in my delirious state, thought Gosh something looks off in Stella and puppies pool in my bedroom and started to count puppies 🤪 ......And then I realized NALA was playing with Stella's 4 week old puppies and Stella was in her little bed near by watching. 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣🐾💓
If you know Nala she is a GOOFBALL and loves to play! She is such a sweet girl and wants to be friends with everyone!!
Typically Mommas are pretty protective and dont let anyone close to the baby bed, which Stella had been doing up until now.... she must be tired of raising her puppies too and figured Nala could entertain them for awhile now that they are getting bigger!!

It takes a Village!! For humans and puppies too!

Stella's little players, Mites, Sq**rt, PeeWee and Bantam made their first appearance 11-14! She has 3 boys and 1 girl. They are 1 week old now and filling in nicely. Stella has been a wonderful Mommy!
We went with a hockey levels for names this litter....as it is our LAST year in the youth hockey program and we are in full on hockey mode right now!!!

Sadly, we lost Freddy last week. Fading Puppy Syndrome is one of the hardest parts of being a breeder. Sometimes they just are meant to be angels 😇 ✨️

My little Miss Stella had her first litter on 11-14. She is a little girl and first litters are always hard..... it was a long DAY of delivering, with hours between pups and we struggled getting breech positioned pup #3 out and breathing.....but Stella is now embracing motherhood and brought a chewy bone into her bed to enjoy 🤣

Wolfie, a Happy Hill Alumni that is now a registered Pet Therapy Dog, visited St. Ben's College during mid-terms to offer some emotional support to the students missing their pets at home and give them a mid term pep talk!!
I thought that was the coolest thing....and it touched my heart as we begin the college selection journey for our eldest son that is considering St John's, the men's college next to St. Bens womens school where Wolfie was!
If anyone has any tips on playing baseball at the collegiate level and/or schools that have great Nursing programs I'm all ears!!

Wolfie's Mom and Dad GIVE so much back to the community it just makes my heart melt that one of my puppies is working hard to GIVE BACK and spread the HAPPY!! 🥰 Great Job Wolfie and Bernardy's!! Dorothy Bernardy
