BEWARE… A client just reported that they received a notification (the little bell on the page) that appears to be from Lakes Veterinary & Surgical Center or a friend sharing a link to Lakes Veterinary & Surgical Center Merchandise (T-shirts, mugs, etc – with realistic pictures, etc) – Delete any Facebook notifications concerning Lakes Veterinary & Surgical Center. And, its never a good idea to click links.

How / Why does this happen? – From Google:
Competitors may clone the business profile and logos to create alerts to steal client data, siphon off followers, and gain access to potential leads by appearing as the official brand. We do not know this to be true, but several clinics in the surrounding area have been acquired by corporations and they may be targeting those that are determined to stay independent.
