Dear Rescue Partners,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out on behalf of Smith County Animal Control & Shelter regarding several Lab Mix currently in our care who are still waiting for their chance at a forever home or placement with a rescue partner.
These dogs are wonderful, social, and embody so many of the great qualities Labs are known for – affectionate, intelligent, and eager to please. They’ve been doing well in the shelter environment so far, but we know they would truly thrive in a home setting where they can receive more individualized care and enrichment.
Currently, we are not in crisis mode, but we’re hoping to be proactive in helping these dogs find their path out of the shelter before length of stay becomes an issue or stress begins to take a toll. Some have been with us for a few weeks now, and interest from the public has been slow. With the high number of intakes, we see this time of year, we know how quickly things can change.
We would love to partner with any rescue that may have room for one or more these deserving dogs or help share them to increase visibility and potential adoption. We are happy to provide

COURTESY POST 💕

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BCcY33yyR/?mibextid=wwXIfr

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED URGENTLY! 🚨
Court-Ordered Release Deadline: July 30

Three innocent dogs were rescued after being found locked in a parked car — scared, confused, and overheated. Thanks to a court order, they’ve been given a second chance... but only if we act fast.

We’ve been granted custody of these sweet pups — but can not take possession till July 30 and upon that day if we have not arranged a foster / adopter they risk going back into a tragic situation. 💔

We need your help to give them safety, love, and a soft place to land.

📍 What We Need:
✅ Short-term fosters (even just a few weeks helps!)
✅ Safe, loving homes willing to open their doors
✅ Donations to help cover initial vetting, food, and care

These three dogs are beautiful souls who deserve better — and YOU could be the one to make it happen.

📹 See the attached video & photos to meet them.

Please share, comment, and help us save them. Time is short, but our community is strong! 💪🐾
