Hello, I'm Skye! I am the lead trainer for Valley Ridge. I give lessons and train on-site horses! I am located in Lincoln NE at Watchman Stables.

Our Halloween party tomorrow has been canceled due to rain. If you still wish to come love on the boys, let me know asap! I definitely do not mind having people still come love on Bentley and Valor.

10/23/2026

Bentley is on the mend and will be back to giving lessons in 2-3 weeks. Valor will be doing all lessons until then.

10/16/2026

Valor will be doing all lessons this weekend. Bentley is not feeling his best and he is taking this weekend off to help recover. Valor is ready and prepared for students!

10/13/2026

Horseback riding lessons are available! 60 minute lessons are $50. All lessons are for ages 6+. Adults are welcome to take lessons too! All lessons are one on one, I do not offer group lessons. I am located in Lincoln at Watchman Stables. Click the link to get on the schedule!

As many know, October is my favorite month as it comes with spooky season! I have decided to drop lesson prices to $50 for a spooky good deal. 1 hour lessons will be marked down on the website for $50 each! 90 minute lessons will also drop to $100 from $120

Please remember these lessons are one on one and for ages 6+ (including adults). Helmets are required for youth 18 and under, which i can provide for the first few lessons.

Hello students and families! Wow, what weather! Our barns flooded including the indoor arena. Lessons will still continue as normal but will be more trail rides and ground lessons this weekend, possibly through next week, while the arenas dry out. The boys are muddy, but safe and happy. Make sure you are fully prepared to leave your lesson covered in mud! I highly advise to not wear white for lessons 😅

09/28/2026

I will be closing my 9am lessons on Saturday and Sunday for the month of October. They will reopen in November.

09/09/2026

My sincerest apologies for lessons last night. We had a family medical emergency and I left my phone at home. If you had lessons scheduled yesterday, please reach out. I will give you a lesson for free to make up for my lack of communication!

I have a very exciting opportunity for my students! This year, a dear friend of mine has offered to do photo sessions with my students!
Sessions are $50
You are welcome to wear non riding clothes for pics
You will be welcome to get photos with Bentley or Valor or both!
Sessions will be held in November as I am too busy to do them sooner with my 2nd job being seasonal for Sept/Oct
Please let me know if you would love to partake in this gracious opportunity!

Apologies for the post yesterday about parking, here is the new version. Students will still meet with me at the barn labeled Valley Ridge. Again, there is no signage, but I will be there when you arrive for your appointment!
Please do not park on the gravel lot in front of the barn that I am in. Park along the driveway in the grass (the fences are hot) or along the arena if it isn't too muddy (pretty much wherever my truck is, you can park) Thank you for your understanding.
