Some handmades from today on one of my favorite red horses. He’s healing up from a collateral ligament injury. This G-bar shoe will help to stabilize the foot while giving the lateral collateral ligament a little more support due to that side of the shoe “floating” more on soft footing than the medial due to more surface area. While both collateral ligaments are not happy the lateral is the one actually injured so I got a little creative with this therapeutic package and added a leather pad to minimize the amount the foot will sink into the ground and used concave to keep things light and to give him a little traction coming into spring wet season.

Lectures that have been quite educational, and a few action shots of the Competition.

Also Margo I might be bringing the Swiss Farrier team home quarantine vacation.
