Our practice was established in 1974 with the goal of providing quality medical and surgical service to the pets of Lincoln, Nebraska. With your support, we have grown from two doctors to six with a dedicated team of licensed veterinary technicians and tech assistants, hospital management, front desk, kennel and support staff. We are an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association

, which sets standards for many areas of practice. Our attention has been, and continues to be focused on preventive medicine, as well as high quality medical and surgical care.

Today we say a bittersweet goodbye to Dr. Falloon as he begins a new chapter. Dr. Falloon joined the Pitts family in 1998 and has been part of our team for 28 amazing years! His journey in veterinary medicine started as a technician at Animal Care Clinic, and the rest was history.

Over the years, Dr. Falloon has brought so much laughter, kindness, and positivity into our clinic each and every day. He’s been loved not only by all of us here at Pitts, but by so many clients and pets as well. His impact on this clinic and our community will never be forgotten.

We’d love for you to share your favorite memories or stories about Dr. Falloon in the comments as we celebrate everything he’s meant to all of us over the years.

While we will miss him greatly, we are so excited for him as he starts this next journey. We know he’s going to continue doing amazing things — although finally completing ninja school may still be his greatest accomplishment yet. 😉

Starting off the week strong with saying happy national veterinary receptions week! These are the kind voices who answer your calls and the first faces you see when you walk into the clinic.

Let’s get to know a little about our CSR staff!

First up we have Kylee: Kylee is full time at the clinic and doubles as a veterinary assistant. She is graduating from UNL this spring with her bachelors in animal science with the equine option and a minor in ag business.

Next we have Carter: Carter is also full time at the clinic and doubles as a veterinary assistant. He graduated from CCC with an associates in applied science and is currently in the Penn Foster online program working towards his veterinary technician license.

Next up is Cayman: Cayman is a new addition to our CSR team! She’s full time here at pitts right now. Cayman is planning on attending school to pursue a psychology degree when she’s ready.

Next we have Taylor: Taylor is another new CSR team addition! Taylor is currently exploring her options on where she wants to go and what she wants to do in the veterinary field!

Last but definitely not least we have our most seasoned CSR Gabby: Gabby is planning on working her way towards being a Veterinary Technician and is planning on starting a program here in the near future.

Happy Monday, on a happy note:

This is Westlie, the Havenese puppy who is trying his best to get his cheese treat off his nose before he heads home for the day. Despite being small he was big and brave today!
