JOB OPENING: Part-Time Animal Care Assistant
Hillcrest Animal Clinic, located just north of Lincoln, NE, is hiring two part-time Animal Care Assistants. This is a great opportunity for students interested in veterinary medicine, animal science, or anyone who enjoys working with animals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include: *feeding and caring for horses, dogs, and cats *cleaning stalls, outdoor pens, and dog kennels *moving hay and shavings *keeping the barn clean, organized, and well maintained *Administrating medications as directed *Assisting veterinarians and technicians *General office cleaning
Requirements: *Horse experience is required. *Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently. *This is a physically demanding position requiring the ability to lift hay bales to 80lbs. *Must be comfortable working outdoors in both summer heat and winter weather. *Weekend availability is required.
