Our garage sale was a hit today and we had a blast but we are not done, folks! We still have a lot to choose from (QVC items, holiday decor, a full-length standing mirror, a white drafting table, a car rooftop cargo box, baby stuff, pet stuff, etc). Items are in the garage or under tents so we’ll be out tomorrow and Saturday rain or shine! Come out and see us! 😊

GARAGE SALE THIS WEEK!!

It’s been a little while, but 402 NonPAWfit is still here. 🐾
We’ve been working behind the scenes, figuring out the details, building a strong foundation, and taking the necessary steps to make this organization something our community and its animals can truly rely on.
Starting a nonprofit takes time, planning, paperwork, supplies, connections, and—most importantly—funding. We have big goals for helping pets and the people who love them, but we cannot get started without community support.
Every donation, share, like, fundraiser idea, and encouraging word helps move us closer to making a difference. ❤️
If you believe in our mission and want to help us get off the ground, please consider donating or sharing this post with someone who may want to support local animals.
Thank you for being patient with us, believing in us, and staying with us while we build something meaningful for the 402 community. 🐶🐱

Meet Lady!
Cocker Spaniel
Spayed female
9 years old, 38 pounds

Lady loves to look out the windows of her foster home. Will this be the month an adopter comes to meet her? Lady’s last owner had to move into a care center, so our curly-haired queen is seeking a new castle to call her own.

She has a gentle heart and happy personality, but like lots of seniors, Lady comes with her own pill box. Joint supplements and arthritis medication help her navigate steps, but a peaceful home without stairs and without other pets might be her preference if she could pick the ideal place to spend her golden years.

Lady is low-energy, enjoys lounging and likes to roam a fenced yard at her own pace. She is leash trained and never needs to be kenneled, but she will require regular grooming. Lady is house trained and would love human companions who are home most of the time and able to give her periodic potty breaks.

If interested in meeting Lady, please complete our online Adoption Application (link in comments) or send us a message with your phone number so we can call you.

We new pawsitive vibes!!!

This was the ONE female we couldn’t get last year.

Sophie.

She is VERY loved by her caretakers, however, she is a relentless baby machine. She has 2 spring kittens that are with her most of the time, and we were lucky enough to get one of them tonight.

SHE is why trappers “keep going back”. Getting her spayed is how we get to containment.

Getting to 75% the first time. Going back again and getting 75% of the remaining, and then going back for the last ones.

That’s how it’s done. Done right.

Huge props to our caretakers here. They’ve kept eyes on her, trained her to eat in the same place.

Cross your paws!!! She’s getting her “spa”y day soon!!!!!
