Capital Humane Society The Capital Humane Society is a non-profit organization with a goal of uniting animals and families.

We offer adoptions, education and training to help foster a love of animals and a lifetime of companionship. In addition to serving the community, Capital Humane Society provides a variety of opportunities! The staff works diligently to reunite lost animals with pet owners. We also want to create a successful and long lasting relationship when it comes to adding a pet to your home. For your conven

ience, all dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets are given a health examination, spayed or neutered and given a series of vaccinations prior to entering the adoption program. An active volunteer program offers a variety of things that individuals can help with. Volunteers help with the socialization of animals, the Pet Assisted Therapy Program, as well as giving tours and presentations to school age children and civic groups.

My husband and I adopted Baxter and Binx from y'all in December of last year, and I believe their original names were Dennis and Dee. Here are some updates:

Baxter is so so so sweet and needs all of the attention, and Binx is so sweet, super chill, and loves blending into her surroundings but never truly hides. We love and adore these babies so much; thank y'all.
