Karma update:
Karma has came so far since our first interaction. To be honest, she is not the same dog. Obedience training came naturally to her and was so much fun. She has been training on scent work both tracking and detection for a little bit now. She’s so smart, by far the smartest dog I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Today was a milestone in her story! This morning I was notified by a neighbor about a missing dog. Something inside me said “per her on it” so I did. We had never trained on tracking dog scent before and honestly never thought of it. I was kinda skeptical if I’m being honest but we packed up and headed out into the woods at the last known location. After a few sniffs of a scent article her nose hit the ground. In under 30 min and about a mile or more, Karma lead us straight to the dog. Only lifting her nose twice. The focus she showed was amazing. Sometimes it feels like she’s training me. I am bless to have been bitten by Karma! Remember what I say sometimes you just gotta trust your dog.

We got back to our roots today. In the shelter working on dogs. It felt really good to see some old friends and meet some new ones. 50% off all training for dogs adopted at DAC
