Wise Choice Tack is central Kentucky's premiere tack store. Carrying all of your English needs, we a Wise Choice Tack was founded in May of 1994.

Wise Choice was the name of Mary Ann's first horse and became the inspiration behind the store. The idea from Mary Ann and David Baseheart quickly grew and has become Lexington's most preferred Tack shop. The Karben UltraGrip Stirrup! These stirrups feature a quick release safety system with a spring loaded are that allows for a quick escape of the foot in case of a fall. The arm remains secure until the pressure from a fall forces it open. It’s also made from ultra light aluminum and it powder coated in matte black for a sleek look. The foot plate features an ultra grip feed to offer maximum traction when wet or dry.

We just got this Helite AirJump Show Jacket w/ Zip in Airvest on consignment, size small. Both items are in like new condition and are being sold as a set for $800 (originally sold for $1300). The vest and jacket can be zipped together, or worn separately, and a spare air canister and tool are included with them.

We just restocked on Sore No More performance poultice, gelatin, and liniment. Sore No More Perfomrance products rapidly pulls out heat, toxins, and fluid while stimulating circulation and cooling the area. This helps reduce pain, swelling, and infection, and is also gentle on horses with sensitive skin. The performance formulas are also safe for horses competing in FEI or other agency regulated events.
We also just received a shipment of the ever popular Santa Fe No-Slip Conditioner w/ sunscreen.

With peacock stirrups being banned in some competitions, we’ve had some customers looking for for an affordable safety stirrup alternative. We have a few pairs of these S-Curve safety stirrups available, and we are looking for others to order. The sculpted outer edge of these stirrups allows for the foot to slide out of the stirrup easily in the event of a fall. We have 1 - 3 1.2” available, 1 - 4”, and 2 4-1/4” available. These stirrups run $64.99
