Our retail, treadmill & grooming appointments are closed today. The dog wash is OPEN!! Need your dog clean? Don’t want a mess in your house? The dog washes at Yappy Place are the BEST, most efficient in town. If you need to get your dog clean before the holidays (or even on a holiday) and don’t want mess at your house, we are the place to go. Extended hours - open 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM - every day (even on Easter). They are self-serve, no appointment required. Payment is like a vending machine with debit, credit, phone, or cash. They hold large dogs such as Great Danes and Mastiffs. They operate with push buttons like a self-serve car wash. The water temperature is regulated and blow drying is available. No fussing with shampoo bottles or figuring out the right hot/cold balance. Get your dog clean without creating a mess at home. We recommend bringing a towel. Located at 314 S Ashland Ave, Lexington, Ky 40502. We have parking in a lot shared with Domino’s Pizza.

Yappy Place is an innovative, growing business designed to enhance the lives of pets and their owners. We are looking to add an additional dog groomer and a part-time dog bather. Dog Groomers at Yappy Place are W-2 employees. Dog Bathers are paid hourly and have additional duties beyond bathing. If you’re interested or have questions, please send a private message.

Have you tried our dog wash? It has a few unique features and is very efficient. It also has extended hours. The dog wash area has a separate entrance with wooden stairs and is now open every day from 6:00am to 11:00pm.

The dog wash is $15. It operates on a timer and most customers are done in the 15 minutes the timer runs for $15. The shampoo mixes with the water and comes out of the spray nozzle. This makes the process of lathering the dog with shampoo very efficient. There is a professional grade grooming dryer included. We recommend bringing a towel to save time. We don’t charge per dog. We have several customers with multiple dogs who can get both done in 15 min or 20 min total, which would be $15-$20 total for both dogs.

Our extended hours for the dog wash are so popular, we decided to make them even better. The dog wash area is now open every day from 6:00am to 11:00pm.

It looks like this week is shaping up to be a joy for winter lovers. The self-serve dog wash area is open every day 7:30am to 10:00pm regardless of weather. The dog wash has machines that accept payment via card, phone, watch, or cash. No appointment required. Swipe to see a picture of the dog wash are. Our parking spaces get cleared when it snows.

Looking for a grooming appointment before Valentine’s Day? We have Saturday and Sunday appointments available. We also take scheduled bath appointments that include nail trimming and ear cleaning.

For grooming we take both small and large dogs, older dogs, and also groom doodles. All of our services include nail trims and ear cleaning. We have a range of services available, including bathing, tidy trims (face, feet, and under the tail), full grooming (all over trim), and deshedding. Pricing is based on the size of the dog, type of coat, and services wanted. Drop-in nails trims are available when our groomers are working. Our groomers have great experience and love working with dogs. Our groomers will also groom cats.

February and March are skunk mating season. It’s possible your dog could have a close encounter with a skunk. If your dog gets sprayed, put dog shampoo or other dog safe soap/detergent on the fur first. Then rinse with water. That’s the fastest way to manage skunk stink.

While we don’t wish for anyone to deal with skunk odor on their dog, our dog washes are open from 7:30am to 10:00pm every day.

The dog wash is $15, self-serve & self-pay, no appointment required. Payment can be made by card, phone, watch, or cash. Shampoo, Flea/Tick shampoo, and professional grade grooming dryer are included with the dog wash.

We recommend bringing a towel. It will save time. Due to the extended hours, we don’t have towels available.

We welcomed a third groomer in December. Like our other two groomers, Eryn comes with years of experience. Eryn is taking appointments on Saturday and Sunday. Our existing groomers are still with us and love their regular pup clients.
