The tags, DMs, emails, calls, texts, comments, voicemails, and surrender forms pleading for help are coming in constantly.
But foster applications are not.
We want to help, but we simply cannot at this time.
🛑 We are currently closed for intake. 🛑
We will not take in more animals than we can responsibly care for. The majority of our fosters are USC students who are now away on summer break, leaving us with a completely full house.
Here's how you can help right now:
🏡 If you can... ADOPT. Give a cat or dog a safe, loving, permanent home. Whether it's from us, another rescue, or a municipal shelter, if you're ready for a pet, please adopt! We are located in SC and transport adopted animals to the Northeast weekly.
🐾 If you cannot adopt... FOSTER. If you're in the Columbia area and can give a cat or dog a temporary home, we will provide all supplies and work with your schedule. 🆘 This is our greatest need to be able to help save more lives!
🥫 If you cannot foster... DONATE. Pâté-style kitten food, dry puppy food, and kennel disinfectants are our biggest needs. But even unwanted used items lying around the house like dog toys, sheets, blankets, towels, and harnesses are accepted + appreciated. Every dollar and item helps!
🐕🦺 If you cannot donate... VOLUNTEER. We have on-site tasks, Doggy Day Out, adoption events, transport needs, and off site opportunities to make an impact, like lemonade stands and supply drives.
📲 If you cannot volunteer... SHARE. It's free, takes less than 10 seconds, and it reaches people we can't. You never know who may see it and be able to help!
We've adopted out more than 900 animals in 2026, and we certainly couldn't have done it without supporters like you. ❤️ Thank you!
Be the reason we can say yes again.
