Often times our Emergency Department serves a greater purpose for our community when we help owners with end of life decisions. We recognize this isn’t easy for our pet owners and we are thankful to be able to offer guidance, support and our condolences to them.

With that said, it can also be emotionally challenging for our team. Many times this is our only interaction with this pet and their family. We hope to make it as smooth as possible and often times hide our own emotions from the families.

We want to thank one such family that took the time, during their grieving process, to recognize our team’s dedication. Chief’s family thought of us and our daily struggles and we appreciate them so much. 💕
