The Humane Society of Davidson County is a non-profit, no-kill volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare of animals and residing in Davidson County, North Carolina. We have educated the public about the needs of animals, and promoted laws that benefit animals. Over the years, we have saved the lives of thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens, thereby working to reduce the serious problem of overpopulation.

We will be displaying our luminarias, refreshments, live music, fire pit. Santa is planning a surprise visit for Family & Animal Photos. The Thrifty Paws store will be open for shopping & Holiday Specials.

If you would like to Honor or In Memory of a Friend/Family or Furbaby, you can pick up a Luminaria Display Form at Thrifty Paws .

🐾🙋🏿‍♂️🐾 Hi everyone 🤩 I know it’s national CAT day and I’m not a cat BUT I really need HELP! I’m a wonderful loving dog whose owners moved and left me to fend for myself. It’s been hard but a very nice family found me by the road and took me in to their home. Now I’m hoping someone out there will find it in their heart to give me a try. I’m good with people and dogs
I know how to behave ❤️ and I love to go for rides. I mean after all I’m not a silly puppy 🐾👏🏻🐾 . Please give me a chance!
