Protecting Our Paws: Why We Value Your Trust 🐾
We often talk about how buyers need to be careful when looking for a new furry family member, but there is a side of this industry that often goes unseen: breeders get targeted by scammers too.
I’m sharing these screenshots (see below 📸) of a recent interaction we had. From "overpayment" check schemes to suspicious shipping requests, scammers are constantly trying to take advantage of the love we have for our pups.
Why are we sharing this?
Because we get it. We know that when you are looking for a puppy, you might feel a little hesitant or nervous about who you are dealing with. Seeing the "other side" of these scams reminds us why trust and transparency are so important.
• We understand the hesitation: If you ask for a video call, more photos, or specific references, we don’t mind! It shows us you’re a responsible, careful future pet parent.
• Safety goes both ways: Just as you want to ensure your money is safe, we want to ensure our puppies are going to real, loving homes.
• Building a Relationship: We aren’t just selling a puppy; we are looking for a lifelong match. Genuine communication is the best way to fight back against these scammers.
