Baby Announcements 🎉
The rabbitry is in a mini baby boom this week, courtesy of Maple Ridge Riot (RIS winning self black carrying chocolate, dilute, and tort)! Four litters on the ground with two additional positive palpations/nesting behavior.

Gertie has been the show string star since the fall, so excited about her brood career! She’s an extremely color correct Opal with the fur and body to match.

Thrilled to have another litter out of my foundation doe! She’s the dam, second, or third dam of more than half of the barn, and due to the move and life circumstances, hasn’t been bred in a year. She took on one fall off ♥️♥️ DropShot is the mother of my most successful show rabbit ever, Stone’s Throw CatNap, and my many legged Amber herd buck, Stone’s Throw OverDrive.

Unfortunately Moon kindled three peanuts along with this little Castor, but this appears to be a doe! Moon had a very long and accomplished show career, but I have yet to retain a daughter of hers as they have all been brokens. This appears to be a doe, so hopefully it’s the one! Excitingly, it turns out that Moon is a confirmed dilute - two of her peanuts were Opals!

Kinky had a very limited and late show career due to a nestbox ear injury, but she has the best type in the entire barn. Such a beautiful, short doe with an uber correct high point.
