🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July from Texas Rustlers Small Animal Rescue! ❤️🇺🇸

Looking for a fun way to kick off your Independence Day? Start your morning with some adorable guinea pigs, bunnies, and great people! 🐹🐰

We're OPEN next Saturday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and would love to see adopters, supporters, shoppers, and—of course—our amazing volunteers! Whether you can stay all day or just lend a hand for a little while, every bit helps and means so much to the animals in our care.

Come celebrate with some furry friends before the fireworks begin! 🎆

From hoarding survivor… to tripod queen… to FOREVER HOME. 👑🐰💕

Our sweet Imogen has officially crossed the finish line. 🏁💛
She came to us from a hoarding situation — pregnant, uncertain, and in need of safety. She gave birth to her beautiful babies, Sawyer & Devara (who were available for adoption at the time ❤️).
Then came the hard chapter. An infection led to the decision to amputate her leg to protect her quality of life. And true to Imogen fashion? She healed, she binkied, she thrived. 💪🐇
And now… she has her forever. A loving mom. A new bunny friend. A home where she’ll never have to fight so hard again.
This is why we rescue. This is why we don’t give up.

Help us create more stories like Imogen’s.

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted, but we’re back! 💛
Huge shoutout to Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue for this adorable guinea pig cutting board — clearly it’s already been put to good use. 🥕🐹 Rescue friends supporting rescue friends is one of our favorite things. We truly believe we’re stronger together in this mission.

Today’s taste testers: Ryan & Loki, one of our adoptable pairs.
Ryan said “yes please” to carrots.
Loki said “low-key I’ll nap instead.” 😴
How?! We may never understand.

WHEEK WHEEK!!!!

For the safety of our volunteers, adopters, and customers, the rescue will be closed on Saturday, January 24, due to the forecasted winter weather and unsafe driving conditions.

We'll be open as usual next Saturday - see you then, and have a safe and warm wheekend!
