Good Morning! 🥰 Hunting season is just around the corner and im more than excited to begin this year with ya’ll.
Touching base on a few subjects!
** I do have limited spots available in my shop, although that number is high it there will be a cap at some point! Get your game in ASAP. Items will be done in the order they are brought to the shop. Please do not pay more than the deposit amount. Cash or local checks are accept unless otherwise discussed. When your mount is done you have 30 days to pick up your item or there will be a daily storage fee. This is stated on the paper you sign. You are not guaranteed a date or time your animal will be finished but i will do my best to have every animal out the door with in a year of drop off.
All animals must be legally tagged. You will be required to show your hunting licenses at time of drop off.
If you have something from last year you are wanting done please get it to me and i can have it done quickly before the new year takes off.
Prepping deer:
If you do not know how to properly skin your deer for mounting I am more than happy to cape it my self! I will also take deer to cape and either quarter or bone out and deliver to local butcher for a fee. Each process cost differently.
If you do know how, make sure you are leaving the skin all the way back to the ribs to ensure i have enough hide to work with.
Prepping Birds:
Do not skin your birds. If the meat is super important to you. Please bring the animal in the day of kill and i am more than happy to get the meat out for you.
If not, please wrap the head and feet in a soaking wet paper towel. Tuck the head under the wing and put it in a big zip lock bag or double bag a grocery sack and release as much air as possible. Please note, the condition you deliver to bird to me is the condition you get it back. I can only do so much with broken wings, missing or pin feathers.
