Bernadotte cafe is a small family owned restaurant with home made home style comfort food. if you've ever been there you know we have quite a show in the summer time with tons of humming birds flying inches from the windows! we have daily specials

MONDAY: ham and beans fried potatoes and cornbread

FRIDAY: cat fish (whole) and scored buffalo 2 sides

SUNDAY: chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes

n green beans

the other days is what ever we decide sounds good some times soup and a samich some times hot beef or pork sandwiches smothered with gravy you never know youll just have to come find out! don't forget to check out the only dam on spoon river and the historic iron bridge. we gladly take reservations and large groups. if u have enough people you can get served family style or out of the menu. also we are open on holidays yes even Christmas

Friday catfish scored Buffalo and two sides
Saturday ham stake sweet potato and side. Sunday chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes gravy and green beans

Just updated for spoonriver at seavill. Prayers were answered..
Thanks for all the care. Short this river use to come in the cafe at 27 feet at seavill with the bar part being lower floor it would get in there at 26.2 . This river has changed over the years . I might think 29 feet before it gets the bar . Cause it didn't get in and now it will be falling after today.

Due to the spoonriver .. rising it is over the road coming in to town it is closed by the county. We will not be opening. And been moving stuff up . Getting as prepared as we can . See where it ends up . And starts to fall . It was alot . People who live here and in danger spent the morning getting stuff to high ground. I can't thank people enough for the help I got to day.
