was established in Jan. 1986 in Havana, IL by Dr. Rodney Yetter, who was born and raised in Havana. Dr. Yetter has 28 years of experience, graduating from the University of Illinois in 1983. He is the only veterinarian in the practice, providing consistent medical care for your pet. After hours emergency service is available with Dr. Yetter at the clinic in Havana. We provide service to " all crea

tures great and small", including dogs, cats, horses, llamas, and livestock. Our friendly, knowledgeable, experienced staff will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Half hour appointments are routine, allowing us to thoroughly and compassionately examine and discuss your pets health care needs. We strongly believe in making sure you understand everything concerning your pet's health, and we provide written reports detailing our findings and recommendations. We have an in-clinic diagnostic lab so to provide timely information on your pet's condition, allowing for quick and accurate treatment. In addition to veterinary care we provide boarding and grooming services. Financing is available with low monthly payment options.

On March 14th Dr. Yetter`s ewe, named Abigail, had QUADRUPLETS! Now sheep fairly commonly have triplets, but I`ve never heard of quadruplets before! Abigail also only has one functioning teat (sheep have two.) Now, four lambs with only one functioning teat means Dr. Yetter has been bottle feeding lambs 3-4 times a day since March 14th! It`s a lot of work but also kind of fun. 😊

On Saturday, April 25th, we had to say goodbye to our elderly Queen of the clinic, Mia. She ruled the clinic since we obtained her in September of 2012. She was one of the nicest and most beautiful cats I have ever seen and would melt into your arms when picked up to be cuddled.
When younger, she loved to go outdoors and visit our neighbors, the health department and driver’s license station.
She was also a hero cat on many occasions, being called upon to be a blood donor to sick kitties in need.
She had a wonderful life here at the clinic and will be sorely missed. We were blessed to have her!
