We are hosting a pet food drive for Idaho Animal Rescue Network!!! Let’s do our part!!

Now through the end of January, anyone that brings in a donation of dog or cat food will get to grab an envelope from the counter….each envelope has a gift card or coupon in it for Tawny’s Tails. These range anywhere from $5 to $50 😳❤️🐾 (only one envelope per person)

If you want to bring in a donation other than when you’re already coming in for an appointment, just please message me to make sure I’m open, with the holidays coming up I have some odd hours. 😅

Kennel cough is circulating in the valley again. It is important to make sure your dogs are up to date on Bordetella and all other recommended vaccines. While some strains may still break through, vaccinations can greatly reduce the severity and spread of illness.

If your dog is coughing, sneezing, losing their appetite, or acting under the weather, please keep them home and away from other pets. A little caution goes a long way in protecting everyone’s animals.

It is also important to be selective about where you take your pets. Groomers, daycares, pet sitters, and boarding businesses that do not require current vaccination records put every visiting animal at risk. Responsible establishments verify vaccinations are CURRENT to help ensure pets stay healthy. They are also transparent when these illnesses do occur at their facilities.

We all know I’m old fashioned, even my schedule is still on paper 😅…. But so many people have had trouble with keeping track of paper gift certificates so I’ve finally upgraded. As of today you can purchase gift cards for any amount in the salon! (And they fit in your wallet so they won’t get misplaced as easily 😉)

Hey everyone, I’m now accepting a limited number of new clients!!

*No large dogs (yes I love them, I just work alone so I’m limited on lifting them)

*Must be current on vaccines

*I only schedule Mon-Fri, I honestly don’t think I will ever work weekends again, family time is too important.

*My phone is still going straight to voicemail for some people, please message me here or text me to schedule if I don’t answer the phone. I DO get voicemail notifications so I will see the call if you leave a voicemail….(T-mobile says it’s Apples problem, Apple says it’s T-Mobile 🙄… either way I am still dealing with them both and hoping for a resolution before I have to switch providers 😓)

Here we go!! I’m scheduling clients again, and I’m so excited and grateful to be able to work again! 🥹

A quick few things though before I dive back in…

*I WILL BE UNREACHABLE 8/7 through 8/10 TO SPEND TIME CAMPING WITH MY FAMILY BEFORE I GO BACK TO WORK… any messages will be returned when I get back.

*My phone has been having connection issues when receiving calls sometimes. (Trying to work it out with TMobile but so far nothing has fixed it)..So if I don’t answer, I probably didn’t even get the call and/or voicemail. Please text my number, or send me a message through this page if you don’t get a call back. Or just text anyways if you prefer to schedule your appointment that way.

*I am going to book up pretty quickly, mainly because I’m limiting the amount of dogs I can do in a day at first. I still get tired very easily so I need to build back into working full days. Also, your grooms may take a bit longer than usual at first while I get back into the swing of things.

* When you schedule, please let me know if you’re wanting the soonest available, or if your dog was recently groomed then just let me know that too and how far out you’re wanting to schedule.

*Most of you have gone to other groomers while I have been closed. There are some amazing groomers in this valley, and I know that there are factors that might make them be a better fit for you. And that is okay! I miss all of my clients, but if your new groomer works better for you I completely understand. Do not feel pressured to come back if you’re happy where you are. Just know that I appreciated the time you were here with me, and I want you and your dogs to be happy and comfortable wherever you end up for your grooming needs.

*If any of you have any old bath towels that you’re wanting to get rid of, please bring them in when you come in and I’ll gladly take them off your hands!

And finally….Thank you, to all of you. For being patient. For checking in. For stopping by with get-well gifts. For offering to bring meals, run errands, and help out. For helping with the fundraiser my amazing friends organized. For being there in so many ways for me and my family…. I can never thank you enough, and I’m so excited to see you again. 🥹💕

Hi guys, sorry again for going so long without an update. I’ve just been concentrating on healing, and enjoying family time while I recover. Surgery went well and I can’t even express how relieved I am. I am doing a million times better!!! I will be slowly easing back into work (hopefully mid-August but no promises, I’m so excited to work but I need to not overdo it yet), depending on what my body is ready for. I am not scheduling appointments yet, but I will let you know as soon as I am.

I just wanted all of you to know that we are on the right side of everything, and I will see you all again soon! Thank you for being so patient and kind. I hope you’re all having a great summer. I’ll be in touch soon! 💕🐾
