We rescue and adopt out dogs while also providing community resources and support so that every family can keep their beloved furry family member.

Our goal is always to get the dogs in our care out of their kennels 🐾 Ideally, that means a foster or forever home as soon as possible.

Until then, our volunteers make sure the pups at BTDR HQ get walks, enrichment, playtime and training every chance they get.

Fosters and volunteers keep BTDR running, and they keep our dogs happy and healthy. That also makes them more adoptable, so they’re ready to be the best companions in their forever homes.

🚨 AMHERST FRIENDS! LOST DOG- MEDICAL!

Hi local folks! One of our alumni had a seizure and took off. She has been missing for 2 hrs, multiple sightings across Main Street in amherst, amherst college, at amethyst Brook school, and running down south pleasant. Animal control is aware and assisting.
