We know many of you are worried about the EHV-1/EHM outbreak stemming out of TX. It is very important to stay informed but good news right now is there are no reported cases of this disease in New England or the surrounding states.
The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) have provided more links that can help keep you informed. They are also organizing a webinar about the outbreak for horse owners for November 25th at 8PM ET. We will share the link for that as soon as we receive it.
As always, please reach out to our office (413-549-6900) with any questions or concerns. We are available 24/7.

We want to thank all who are working tireless to help the horses and owners affected by this outbreak.

It's National Veterinary Technician Week!!!

All of the veterinarians at Hess McWilliams can't say thank you enough to our veterinary technicians, both past and present. Without you we couldn't do what we do for our patients and to the standard we want to do it. You remember so many details when we need to focus on the veterinary medicine. You keep us safe when we might be acting a little too brave. You keep us grounded.

Our veterinary technicians, Sarah and Heather, do so much more than that though. Heather is our practice manager! She keeps us in line in the office and on the road. Sarah is our inventory manager! She keeps our office pharmacy and trucks well stocked. They are both so versatile and flexible with whatever we ask of them.

Please if you see or speak with Sarah and/or Heather this week (and every week), say thank you! They keep your animal healthy and safe from behind the scenes.

To all veterinary technicians, THANK YOU!
