Valley Animal Haven VALLEY ANIMAL HAVEN is the 40 year old "Dream Come True" of our founder - Pam Brasil. This shelter is dedicated to giving a voice to the voiceless.

Our founder, Pam Brasil, had a dream of one day having a shelter that would operate solely for the purpose of saving the lives of helpless and homeless animals. This dream was born when she saw a program about an animal shelter, in the Midwest, that had been destroyed by an arsonist because he hated dogs. Her heart broke at such human cruelty. There were 80 beautiful dogs destroyed in that fire. S

he purposed to some day have a safe HAVEN for dogs and cats. That dream has become a reality with the opening of VALLEY ANIMAL HAVEN. Pam, and her magnificent team, are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and caring environment for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in their community. VALLEY ANIMAL HAVEN is a fully approved 501(c)3 Non-Profit, NO-KILL shelter that works with other rescue and shelter groups throughout the San Joaquin Valley to help re-home as many animals as possible. There are tens of thousands of beautiful animals waiting for help. PLEASE join us in our mission to provide the help that they so desperately need and deserve. Our hope is that, one day, no dog or cat will have to suffer at the hands of abusive owners. We can accomplish this through community education programs, effective spay/neuter programs, and the never ending dedication of our shelter supporters.

Hi Facebook Friends. We need your help!!

Meet Roland.🐱

A good Samaritan found Roland in local school district area and brought him to us.
When we took him in, he was suffering from upper respiratory infection(URI).
Thankfully, with treatment, his URI has improved. However, we noticed he was still having problems with his eyes.
His foster family took him to their vet and he was diagnosed with “entropion”, a condition that cause the eyelid to roll inward and irritate the eyes. Roland needs corrective surgery to relieve his pain and prevent further damage.
His surgery is scheduled for June 8th, and while he is under anesthesia, he will also be neutered. The estimated cost for procedures is $1,700.

We are asking for donations to help cover Roland’s medical expenses and give him the comfort and quality of life he deserves.

One of our Super Mario pups found her happily ever after this weekend — congratulations to Peachy on finding her forever home! 💛

That still leaves 7 beautiful large breed puppies waiting for their turn. These sweet babies are currently being fostered, so they’re already getting a head start on family life and learning the ropes of being in a home. That experience can make the transition into their forever families so much smoother!

The Super Mario pups also have a discounted adoption fee, making now the perfect time to come meet them and see if one could be your newest family member.

Belly on the cool floor.
Legs stretched out as far as possible.

She lays like this so often that we honestly wouldn’t recognize her any other way. 💙

Ocean is our calm little observer in playgroup. While the other dogs are busy running around, she’s usually relaxing comfortably and watching the entertainment unfold.
She does enjoy playing with her roommates here and there, but lounging is definitely her specialty.

This sweet girl is around 2 years old, listed as a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, and she’s ready to find a family of her own to relax with forever.
