Why did I choose rainwater albinos as one of my breeding projects?
Short answer I like what other people don’t. I work with Tremper albino everyone’s typical starting point. Here’s an unpopular opinion I strongly dislike bell albino! So I won’t work with them.
I started working with rainwater because I wanted to do more than Tremper. And I saw potential for greatness in rainwaters! When I first got into rainwaters they tended to be a smaller sized leopard gecko. And if they were tangerine as a hatchling they were very yellow as an adult. They faded badly with age.
Our RedHot Rainwater Project was to creat something that would help excel the rainwater! I wanted something that would hatch bright grow out bright and keep that color with age. I also wanted the animal to be large and have good structure! So far so good, they have only gotten better with time!
